This website connects South Wales branches. Everyone from any group can come to any of our activities. The more the merrier.
The neuropsychology page tells you about Rodger’s group meetings and individual sessions.
We’d love to meet you. Why not give us a try? Phone or email the contact person in your local branch and go from there.
Swansea University requires help from brain injury survivors
Interested in discussing a health and wellbeing survey for acquired brain injury survivors? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Headway is working with a team of researchers from Swansea University to design a survey to better understand coping with acquired brain injury.
Some of the things we are interested in discussing are:
- Accident compensation
- Financial management
- Health and wellbeing
- Quality of life since injury
- The impact of Covid-19 on coping and risk-taking behaviour
- Your experience with healthcare services
We would like to hear what you think and whether there are any issues or areas you’d like to see us address. We will schedule Zoom meetings (with or without video, it’s up to you) at a time that suits you over the coming weeks. You can have someone present with you during the meeting.
You will be reimbursed for your time (approx. 30-60mins). Contributions will be anonymous and confidential, and you won’t need to travel to participate.
If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Ffion Jones (Headway Network Support Coordinator) at ffion.jones@headway.org.uk.
We look forward to hearing from you!
